Doc X and how it could be a game changer for Co-operative Housing

Something very exciting is afoot in the world of co-operative housing. At the 2023 UK Communities Conference I picked up the manifesto - enigmatically named Doc X - of London-based Community Assets for Society and Housing (CASH). Start with watching their excellent intro video above. Then, have a read of Doc X. Let yourself consider the possibilities that could arise if asset-rich, established housing co-ops could support fledgling housing co-ops through releasing and redirecting a proportion of their wealth. This is what CASH is exploring (among other things) and what we believe could be a game changer for the movement.
